Flares

Flares are QUBIT’s in-game progression token, earned through skill-based gameplay, quests, and challenges. They are bound to individual Character NFTs, meaning any Flare earned through gameplay contributes directly to that character’s growth. However, players can also purchase Flares using $QUBIT, allowing more flexibility in how and when they invest in their characters.
Flares are not tradable, transferable, or stored in your wallet. Flares live entirely within the game and are part of your character’s progression profile.
When Flares are earned through gameplay, they are assigned directly to the character used, or to your account in cases where the reward is account-wide. While Flares themselves are non-tradable and non-transferable between characters, any Character NFT you own carries its Flares with it if sold or transferred. This gives you practical ownership: even though Flares aren’t blockchain tokens, they remain securely tied to the assets you control.

Key rules & charecteristics
Flares are:
Character-bound – Flares are tied to individual Character NFTs and cannot be moved or transferred.
Non-tradable – You cannot sell, gift, or swap Flares—they live inside the character.
Progression-focused – Flares can only be spent on that character’s growth and personalization.
Survivable through trade – If you sell a character, its earned Flares go with it—potentially increasing its value.
