# Character NFT (Playable)

A Character NFT is your key to the arena. It’s a fully playable, forged hero that lives on-chain and fights in-game. Each one is unique, permanent, and shaped by both the Skeleton it came from and the choices you made when creating it.

### When you forge a Character:

* It inherits the class and rarity of the Skeleton
* You define its visual appearance, name, and style
* It becomes a playable NFT, tied to your wallet and ready for action

\
Once a Character is forged, the Skeleton is locked forever—it’s a one-time transformation.

### Ready to Play

Every Character NFT is immediately playable in the QUBIT game. It:

* Comes with a fixed class that determines spell loadouts
* Can level up and earn Flares
* Is bound to its own set of game progression stats
* Can be equipped with cosmetics and loadout enhancements in the game lobby

\
Characters are what you bring into battle. They’re not just cosmetic, they are your strategic core.

### Bound to Identity

Important to know:

* A Character’s class is fixed.
* Flares earned through gameplay are tied to that specific Character, not your account.
 * When a character is transfered or traded, flares are coming with it.
* You can own multiple Characters, each with their own progress and build.

### Tradeable, but Unique

While Characters are tradable NFTs, their progress and Flares stay with them. If you sell one, the buyer gets everything it’s earned, class, look, Flares, and all.

That means creators can mint playable fighters for others… and skilled players can build up valuable warriors over time.

{% hint style="info" %}
Character NFTs are the heart of QUBIT. They’re not just your avatar—they’re your fighter, your investment, and your identity in the arena.
{% endhint %}
